Start your day with a tour of the Fuller White House, featured on Magnolia Network’s In With the Old. Sara McDaniel (owner and host of Minden Stays) purchased the Fuller White House in 2021 and set about an extensive renovation project of the historic property when television came knocking at her door. Next, take a coffee break at The Broken Bean or Brick Street Coffee. Both serve a range of refreshments and tempting treats in downtown Minden. Immerse yourself in Minden’s rich history as you wander through its captivating downtown district. Admire the stunning architecture dating back to the 1800s and explore the charming shops, venues, and restaurants nestled within the red brick streets. Minden’s Main Street District is a haven for history and architecture enthusiasts, offering a glimpse into the town’s past while providing a vibrant atmosphere for modern-day visitors.

After all the walking around Minden, you’ll have built up an appetite for lunch, so head over to The parTEA Room on Main Street. You can enjoy a quaint tea party with fine china, tea cups, and delicious delicacies! This is the perfect place to enjoy Minden’s hospitality! Be sure to bring your best tea hat and gloves, or borrow some for a cute photo op!

Next, take a trip back in time at the Dorcheat Historical Museum, which showcases Minden’s rich past, including the town’s founding, the Civil War era, notable citizens and much more! The best part about the museum? Admission is FREE!
