Long before you arrive, our team is hard at work. We set the stage using all five senses. The first thing you’ll notice is the atmosphere. We intentionally keep the harsh overhead lights off, opting instead for the warm, inviting glow of soft lamps. On the TV, we have gentle music playing, filling the space with a calm and welcoming sound. The air is lightly scented with our own signature lavender, a calming aroma we’ve carefully cultivated throughout the property to create a truly relaxing environment. In some seasons, we even add a touch of the outdoors by placing fresh, natural vegetation from the property inside, bringing a piece of Minden’s beauty indoors for you to enjoy.
Your comfort is paramount, and you can feel it the moment you settle in. In the bedrooms, we don’t just use standard bedding; we choose plush linens that feel incredibly soft and luxurious. We want you to feel tucked in and cared for, as if you’re staying at a five-star hotel with all the comforts of home. Our super comfy mattresses and luxurious bedding, featuring plush duvet covers and five-star Mellanni sheets, will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a restful night’s sleep. Our final step before we hand over your door code is a meticulous last-minute check. We scan the room for any stray items, ensure every cushion is plumped, and check that every detail is in its proper place. It’s a final sweep to make sure that the space is not just clean, but absolutely flawless for your arrival.

The Villas at Spanish Court: A Historic Retreat
The Villas at Spanish Court offers a unique, boutique-style short-term rental experience on the edge of historic downtown Minden, Louisiana. Once a state-of-the-art multi-family dwelling and the first apartments in Minden, the property fell into disrepair for nearly four decades before being meticulously restored. The Villas now feature eight distinct units, each equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, a queen-size bed, high-speed internet, and an outdoor patio. Two of the larger units, The Laura and The Annie, include a full living room and a fold-down futon, while the other six villas feature a queen-size Murphy bed (Daisy and Cindy also have a fold down futon). The entire property can also be booked for group getaways, with custom packages available to make your event truly special. Pets are welcome, but please mention when booking.
